20th Century Movements in Art

This course involves us looking at some major art movements that have occurred throughout the late 19^th and 20^th centuries and the masters that prevailed. We will combine a little art history with practical projects based on the eras of the masters, starting from the Impressionism.

When: Wednesday evenings, 6:00-8:30pm

Starts: February 13^th – May 15^th 2019

Duration: 12 weeks

Costs: $180 (members) $190 (Non-members)

What to bring: sketch book, drawing and designing materials, miscellaneous materials as required throughout course.

The materials used will vary and may include painting, printmaking, drawing, textiles and/or ceramics.

Who can join the class? Anyone! No experience necessary.
