The winner of the First Prize for the inaugural Collie Art Prize, Brian Robinson, received $50,000 sponsored by the Bendigo Bank earlier this year. As part of the Prize, Brian received a cap that signifies the Collie Art Prize. As Brian lives in Cairns, he could not attend the opening ceremony to receive the awards. Thanks to Brian’s representatives, Dan and Diane Mossenson from the Mossenson Galleries in Subiaco, Perth, Brian received the prize money and the cap. It is great to see that the cap is being used by Brian in his studio – it may enhance his creativity! We wish Brian all the best with his future endeavours.
