Local communications provider CipherTel didn’t hesitate to step in and help when it was discovered that the gallery could not connect to Telstra’s ADSL network, meaning the only alternative for network connection would be a much more expensive wireless option.
CipherTel works closely with the Shire of Collie to provide its communication solutions and saw an opportunity to support a vital community organisations with its products and services.
Managing Director Anthony Frontino said CipherTel was proud to be part of such an important aspect of the Collie community. “Art is vital in understanding the past, present and future of a community,” said Mr Frontino.
“The Collie Art Gallery’s locally displayed works tell the story of the area and its people, and its visiting pieces provide new concepts and inspiration. We wish the Gallery much success.”
