The Collie Art Gallery’s new exhibition, A Camera on Gallipoli, opened on the 13th April. The exhibition, embraced by the local community, exhibits some breathtaking pictures of the Gallipoli War. On exhibit are also artefacts and memorabilia donated by the Collie community.
The opening speakers included Diana McGirr, Director of the City of Busselton’s Art Geo Cultural Complex, Gary Benton, President of the Cardiff RSL Club, and Bill Cooper, a local artist who recited a poem on the tragic war. They were introduced by Allison Fergie who thanked everyone involved in setting up the exhibition.
The exhibition was on loan from the Art Geo Cultural Complex in Busselton.
