Collie Art Prize 2023

We all agree that 2020 was a year like no other.

Most will recall that the Collie Art Prize 2020 exhibition had to be cut short due to the sudden lockdown in March 2020.

Covid has affected us all and while we were initially hoping and planning to run the Collie Art Prize again in 2022, the committee have found that due do the effects that Covid has had on artists, our supporters and sponsors and the insecurity of planning for an event that might suddenly have to be cancelled, it has been decided to postpone the event until February 2023.

In the meantime, we ask all our supporters and friends to keep in touch and look out for other exciting events Collie Art Gallery is planning in the interim.

I feel this is a wise decision as most major awards are going for 2022 and artists are planning accordingly so that will give them time to keep aside a major artwork for this event. You all stay well and I am wishing the Committee and the Gallery a couple of Successful years in the interim. Will you be displaying any of the lester?
Best of the best to you

    • Hi Gillian,
Thank you for your comments. We had The Lester Prize earlier this year. The Gallery is booked up for the next two years so it is unlikely to have another one in the near future.
      Thank you
