Colourful Kids Art Program will start on 16 May. Term 2 will focus on the Impressionist art movement . Children will learn a little about using art to express an impression or instant recognition of a scene or object. Fran Dorozenko will touch on colour mixing and creating an atmosphere.
Monet’s water lilies, and the changing seasons will be the focus. During the 6 weeks of term 2, children will experience several different mediums and techniques, from painting to sculpture and printmaking.
Afternoon tea is provided to keep busy artists’ brains working.
Most of the projects are designed to be completed in only one or two sessions, so the children do not have to wait too long to enjoy their hard work.
The classes will be held 4:00 – 5:30 pm Wednesdays.
