The Drawn 2 Art exhibition opened on the 9th December amid the excitement of the fourteen participating artists and a crowd that gathered in the Studio space of the Gallery. The students ranged from Certificate III and IV participants to Diploma students who were asked to produce merchandising pieces as part of their briefs as well as major works. Opening the Exhibition were Trudi Curran, Arts Lecturer and Chairperson of the Collie Gallery Group and Duncan Anderson, Managing Director of South Regional TAFE. They welcomed the participants to the opening and commended the artists for the creative work that was displayed. It was especially encouraging to see a number of works sold on the opening night. The exhibition will be on until 15th January 2017.
