The Collie Art Gallery is offering its next round of training to provide volunteers with the necessary skills to allow the gallery to hold exhibitions of a national or state significance.
Training will be conducted over two days, 20 and 21 April 2015, from 9am-4pm, and will provide hands-on training in the handling, hanging and lighting of travelling exhibitions.
Modules include:
Module 1.3 Introduction to Touring Exhibitions
Module 2.2.2 Handling Artworks
Module 4.2.2 Condition Reporting
Module 2.3.4 Installation of 2D Artworks
Module 3.3.7 Lighting Techniques

Training is being provided by Art on the Move, which has more than 10 years of experience in the field of exhibition training and advice, designed to meet the needs of galleries and exhibition venues around Western Australia.
Training is being offered at no cost to participants, but a commitment to volunteer at the gallery is an expectation.
Places are extremely limited, so book now.
