Did you know that one of the finalists in the 2016 Black Swan Art Prize actually completed his artwork in half an hour! Ok, he didn’t win, but it does show that great art doesn’t always take months to complete, so if you still haven’t created anything for the richest regional art prize in Australia you still have a chance.
Perhaps you have a work hiding in the ‘to be completed’ pile that you just might be able to pull together in the next few days. Or maybe you’ve been working on something for the last few months. Well now it’s time to put your artists’ block aside and get your entry in.
We’ve had entries from all over Australia and more are coming in daily. It’s true that not everyone can win but remember you’ve got to be in it to win it. Winning a big prize like the Collie Art Prize can rocket a struggling artist into ‘stardom’, with huge attention from galleries and art buyers across the country.

Hi!
Am trying to submit for the Collie Art Prize but keep being met with a blank screen with a loading icon that seems to go on for infinity when trying to pay my entry fee.
Just wondering if there’s any other way to submit because I would love to enter but can’t seem to finalise it.

There were no passwords you needed to enter. The entries closed last midnight WA local time. The Collie Art Prize portal was disabled then. We hope you managed to enter before that.
