Ever wanted to learn more about art history? Senior lecturer Susan Ecker will take you on a journey through time to examine key pictorial issues across centuries of art history and how these can be used to inform and inspire your own artwork. Over two sessions you will have the opportunity to learn about creating the illusion of space, relationships between foreground and background, colour, subject matter, meanings in visual art and the use of photography. BYO notebook and pen. A workbook will be included.
