Local artist, Dianne Clark, is among the finalists at the Camberwell Art Show 2019 held in Hawthorn, Victoria, every year. Her painting is titled Seaside Holiday Town – Italy. The Gala Opening will be held at Swinburne University Advanced Technologies Centre on June 28 with the exhibition being open to the public for 8 days until July 7. The panel of judges had a difficult job of selecting the finalists out of 775 entries received by the organising committee. Dianne held a solo exhibition of her works at the Collie Art Gallery earlier this year. Congratulations to Dianne for this great success!

Congratulations Di – I judged ‘ The Camberwell, in 2001 with the preferred British Royal family portrait artist, Richard Stone. i was then invited back as sole selector and Chair Judge for the 2003 panel of three judges. every year there are hundreds of entries with only a couple of days to do the selection. It is by far Australia’s, if not the Southern hemisphere’s dominant, competitive, purchasing exhibition and to have one’s artwork selected for hanging is a real achievement.
