JourneyWomen

The term JourneyWomen, a play on the medieval description of a skilled practitioner, ‘journeyman’, has been co-opted to describe this exhibition that explores how artists use similar creative inspirations and themes to inform their individual practices. Using a shared plein air art making journey as a point of intersection, Miranda’s works frequently explore concepts of temporality and ever-changing nature of landscape while Leanne’s illustrations for books and wildlife paintings explore the narrative within the landscape.
