The Legacy exhibition is a collaboration between 10 artists from the Great Southern region and Northwest USA.
After the summer of bushfires in 2019-2020, Denmark artist and curator, Jen Mitchell, was inspired to explore the theme of ‘Legacy – what do we hope to leave behind?’. What Jen Mitchell started was contagious and soon grew to a vibrant and interdisciplinary collaboration between painters, photographers, textile artists, and sculptors both in Australia and the United States.
The Legacy exhibition will be on display at Collie Art Gallery 10 December 2021 through 23 January 2022.
