After attending the Curatorial Panel Discussion hosted by exhibition curator Janice Baker in the main gallery from 10AM, participants are invited to view a demonstration of Drypoint and Chine Collé techniques presented by Print Lab Australia founders Monika Lukowska and Melanie McKee. The demonstration will also address innovative ways to incorporate water colour into the printmaking process.
Participants can explore these techniques using pre-prepared plates and materials, or are welcome to bring along their own etched or drypoint plates of A5 size maximum.
The workshop is facilitated by Monika Lukowska and Melanie McKee, 11:30AM – 1:30PM, Saturday, 3 September.
This is a workshop for adults and some printmaking experience is beneficial however not compulsory.
All materials and light refreshments will be provided.
This is a free community event, supported by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.
