Wet Felting a Flower

posted in: Uncategorized | 0

Come and join Alison Melvin to hone your felting skills. This is the third felting workshop Alison Melvin is organising at the Gallery in the last few years.

What you need to bring:

  • Rubber gloves for people with sensitive skin type
  • Apron (optional)

The workshop will introduce you to wool felting techniques to produce a flower. Use of soap, gentle agitation, warm water and cold water to interlock the wool fibres to create a flower. This process requires some form of agility.

All felting equipment, tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. Please bring your lunch.
