The Collie Art Gallery is proud to announce its new website is up and running thanks to a generous donation from BHP Billiton Worsley Alumina.
Pop by the website at www.collieartgallery.org.au for the latest news updates, upcoming events and a host of information for artists, arts professionals and community members.
The website’s online shop is ready to process orders for the Friends of the Gallery and Foundation membership programs as well as registrations for volunteers and training workshops.
BHP Billiton Worsley Alumina Refinery General Manager Michael Rix said the company was proud to support the Collie Art Gallery project with funding for its website and IT infrastructure.
“Worsley is really pleased to assist in the early phase of the Collie Art Gallery project with funding from our Community Grants Program,” Mr Rix said.
“The gallery fits with Worsley’s vision of adding vibrancy to the community and we congratulate the Collie Gallery Group for bringing the centre to fruition.”
The website will continue to be updated and expanded as volunteers continue to develop resources ahead of the gallery’s official opening early next year.
It will eventually be a one-stop-shop for information on the gallery’s exhibitions, workshops and events, local artists and arts education resources.
