Collie Art Gallery

The Collie Art Gallery opened in 2015 as a centre for art and artists. It is the first fit-for-purpose A-class gallery to be built since the Art Gallery of WA was opened in 1979.

The gallery showcases diverse talent and achievement, as well as hosting a range of programs and events.

EXHIBIT WITH US

The Collie Art Gallery was built as part of the Shire of Collie’s SuperTowns program and has been made possible with funding from the Shire of Collie, Royalty for Regions and the Collie & Districts Community Bank Branch of the Bendigo Bank.

It is the first purpose-built gallery in Western Australia since the State Art Gallery in Perth in the 1970s. It provides great benefits to the Collie district through education, inspiration, participation and access to artistic and cultural processes.

The Collie Gallery Group Inc. was formed to lobby for the construction of the gallery and manages its operation. The design includes 150 square metres of gallery space, a 50-square-metre studio and adequate storage and working space, which allow it to host exhibitions of national and international significance.

The gallery’s doors opened in May 2015.

Contact us at admin@collieartgallery.org.au to enquire about exhibiting with us or click here to find out more.
